PROJECT OVERVIEW

Great stories deserve to be told and important knowledges, valuable experiences need to be shared, that's why Relief podcast was created. Relief podcast is a podcast listening app, this app aims to be a 'relief' for people to have a positive space that helps them to entertain, relax, learn and improve their mental health.

With the goal of providing an enjoyable and helpful user experience, this application will focus on the individual problems of each user, with content that will be customized to their interests and moods.

PROBLEM

Nowadays, there are many podcast listening apps for audiences of all ages. However, there is no application for listening to podcasts specifically for young people, which gathers age-appropriate topics, has an eye-catching interface and interesting interactive features.

INSIGHTS

The young often use digital devices and media than the older, and they are much more inclined than their elders to engage with podcasts. After define market demand and research multiple sources of information with data, target customers are between 14-30 years old.

They listen to podcasts to promote positive mental health, increase self-awareness, reduce stress and anxiety, and gain new perspectives on life. Customers expect an easy-to-use podcast listening application that meets their entertainment and relaxation needs, has a modern, eye-catching interface that satisfies their tastes and brings a sense of comfort to use.

THE DESIGN

My design incorporated modern trends and a minimalist style to create an attractive and functional space. Every element and detail of the app were carefully considered and designed with the needs of the target audience in mind.

Why I choose blue & pink colors? Basically, blue is the color of calming, confidence, deep, mysterious and clean, blue is a hugely popular color for apps trying to put across a sense of professionalism and efficiency. And pink color is love, emotional, and caring, it is the perfect color for an app interface which wants to put across a light-hearted and cheerful vibe. So, it feels calm and enjoyment when someone use Relief podcast apps.
